The boys successfully navigated not only the first year of preschool, but also a pandemic! All too often adults believe we are the ones teaching children. Yet, if we all took one second to see how these youngsters interact without judgements and accept one another in love we would be the real learners. My boys continue to love, accept, and treat others with dignity. Thank you Lord for making them more like you and less like me.
The twins threw dirty laundry at both of us this week. My first thought was "that is no way to treat 2 unpaid interns."
Can anyone explain why a mom or dad's first instinct is to catch vomit? We are both guilty of this and the twins have observed it. Needless to say when one of the dogs threw up this week, the twins ran to them running with their hands out.
This week taught me that as parents we will indeed continue to get bombarded by questions about twins. It has now become normal for complete strangers to ask, "Do your twins have totally different personalities?" It’s almost like they’re two separate people!!
May we all have the confidence of twins, who ask for cookies 2 seconds after not being hungry for dinner!!
Note to self: when 1 twin asks the other to play a game of tag, they're basically asking each other if they want to get in a shoving match?!!
