Hello world trick-shot day!! Have you ever heard of World Trick Shot Day? It’s an electrifying celebration that takes place on the first Tuesday of December each year. Established by the Harlem Globetrotters in 2016, the day has become a showcase for incredible athletic prowess and ingenuity. This special day is dedicated to the art of the trick shot, especially in basketball, where athletes worldwide demonstrate their most inventive and jaw-dropping feats. It’s a day where creativity meets precision, and the results are nothing short of spectacular. These astounding performances captivate audiences and challenge the boundaries of what we think is achievable in sports. Why do people celebrate it? They try out new trick shots, share their achievements online, and join or organize competitions.
World Trick Shot Day highlights remarkable talents and builds a community among those passionate about pushing the limits of their favorite sports. Thank you, Harlem Globetrotters, founded by Abe Saperstein, who played their first basketball game and made their first shot in 1926, and have been making waves in the world of sports and entertainment ever since. They gained popularity with their antics and amazing abilities on the basketball court. Today, they hold numerous world records for their feats and continue to push the limits of the game and have inspired new groups who ventured outside of basketball to other sports like Dude Perfect. Kids of all ages, especially my twins, love these family fun entertaining teams. However, the Globetrotters are in rarified air as proud inductees of the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and have entertained hundreds of millions of fans, including presidents, popes, kings, and queens over nine thrilling decades. All these make the day a remarkable one to show that we humans have no limits to what we can do. Well, what are you waiting for? Go out there, find a hoop, go back to being an imaginative child, and see what trick shot you can conjure up, but first, enjoy 5 Friday Finds evoked by twin brothers.....
If a child’s laughter is the best sound in the world, then a child trying to snort a booger back up into their sinus cavity is the worst.
I only put the good toilet paper in the Twins’ bathroom when we have guests. Otherwise, they go through 2 rolls in one day!!
The Twins said they are going to invent a number bigger than infinity so that should keep them busy for a while so I can go make my trick shot!!
Wondering what the HOA is going to do about the noisy kids that look alike who keep coming in my house demanding dinner, giving me Christmas lists, and calling me dad!!
Twins yelled at me this morning for waking them up because apparently both were getting a puppy in their dreams!!
