Our calendar this summer looks like a kindergarten class zig-zagged color themed lines for a perfect blend of aquatic games, camps, sports, trips, and events to fill your days. This is the gateway to a summer break filled with recreational activities, water games and beach trips! Dive into an unforgettable extravaganza that caters to twin adventurers!! It will surely be filled with plot twists, complaints, smiles, laughter, naps, wrestling matches, sweet treats, countless miles driven, and most of all unforgettable memories prior to that first day of kindergarten. 1. Twins: “We are going to pretend to do grown-up things this summer”
Me: Oh, like what?
Twins: “being tired all the time”
Me: Well, played, well played
2. Me: we are no longer going out to eat, signing you up for camps, and just staying at home this summer
Twins: Dad we don’t want your childhood!
Me: Then stop asking me to tie your shoes!!
3. Modern parenting is making sure your kids say “please” when they ask Alexa to play something!!
4. Headed to the kids’ last day of school this week armed with 48 cupcakes and 48 capri suns. Oh the joy of having twins in separate classes!!
5. The twins just asked where we keep the sledge hammer as I am writing this. Pretty sure it is time to stop the unsupervised play portion for the day!!
