It’s that time of year — March Madness! Depending on your specific job responsibilities, March Madness means totally different things to different people. To our family its is Christmas in the Spring! The TV at home, in the office, in the car, and anywhere will be playing games and we will watch closely. Even more so, we will watch both the Men’s and Women’s tournaments, because you better believe Girl’s can Ball too! Everyone begins with a 0-0 record in conference tournament play. Needless to say: It’s the most wonderful time of the year. The buzzer is sounding, brackets will bust, and Cinderella is lurking nearby. Get your popcorn ready, tell your boss the games are more important because "It’s the most wonderful time of the year!!" I hope this year’s tournament brings as much excitement, bewilderment, and joy as the twins do each week. In honor of our 5 weekly finds let us all hope we have at least 5 unimaginable upsets in the first weekend of play…..
1. Having one child makes you a parent. Having Twins makes you a certified referee!!
2. One of the coolest things about being a twin parent is that you and your spouse develop the ability to communicate telepathically about who is going to run after which child when they suddenly run-in opposite directions in public places!!
3. Why are my kids yelling at each other, part 22,200: They both wanted to sleep with a particular chair. Not *in* a chair. Sleep *with* the chair in bed. A regular sized, wooden chair!!
4. You can have twins, or you can have a complete set of silverware, or space in bed to yourself. But you can’t have it both!!
5. Toddlers act like they're the victim of a terrible crime when really, you're just asking them to look up so you can rinse their hair without getting soap in their eyes!!
