It's that time again to open the door on a new year in 2024! Thank you Lord for 2023. Without you we would not be grateful for the safety, blessings, and memories made. As we close I want to share some advice to my twin boys. Every man at some point in his life is going to lose a battle. He is going to fight and he's going to lose. But what makes him a man is that in the midst of the battle, he does not lose himself. He remembers where he came from, those who helped him along the way, and he stays true to his morals, values, and convictions. You do not let the battle inside win. There is a constant battle. Win moral victories. We will all be tested. It is these times, it is in these pains, which allows us to look inside ourselves and become better Christians, men, fathers, brothers, sons, co-workers, friends, coaches. Remember you listen to people that love you and you listen to people that you trust. Most of all, you listen to yourself if God is your compass. You will feel the answer. Therefore, as we approach 2024 let us win more battles this year and give the glory to God. Thank you for winning the fun battle each week as you teach me what it is like being a twin father.....
1. Had a friend ask me for suggestions for something short and funny to watch so I suggested the twins??
2. Sister-n-law tells my wife she should make the twins do more for themselves and then she lifts her 75 pound puppy into her car because he can’t jump that high and then asks her dad to go put gas in her car??
3. No one prepared me for how much of my 2023 would be spent wiping down countertops and toilets!!
4. Only 275 little tasks to get done and we will finally be ready to relax after the holidays!!
5. Not able to keep running away from my problems, I’m getting older and the twins much faster and wiser!!
