Plain and simple: looks like we will be getting some ice cream cones today!! September 22nd is National Ice Cream Cone Day or in other words ice cream cone appreciation day. How can you hold and eat ice cream in your hands without making a mess? By taking a bite into America’s favorite way to eat a cool, sweet treat! Can you imagine eating ice cream without dripping the stuff down your arms or down your chin and ruining your clothes. Thanks to this it’s-incredible-nobody-thought-of-it-earlier innovation, now we’re free to indulge ice cream in cones: waffle-style, pretzel, chocolate-coated, wafer, sugar, or cake are a few to name. Remember choosing a cone over a cup is eco-friendly and a tad bit tastier!! So what are we waiting for? Let's go grab one. 1. Last night the twins asked me if they had ice cream in the "olden days" and it took me a minute to realize they were indeed talking about when I was a kid!!
2. Twins: Can you help me find my toy truck that I have no idea where I left 17 seconds ago.
Also, Twins: Remember that time last year when I wore the red Nike shirt and you promised to take me to the playground, but it rained, so we didn’t go. Can we go now? Do you remember when I fell asleep in the car on the way home from MT. Kilimanjaro, and we did not stop for ice cream? Can we go get ice cream?
3. Me: it’s bedtime!!

4. A heist movie, but instead of navigating lasers and speeding trains, the hero has to remove a 5-year old’s favorite pair of shoes he has outgrown without them throwing a fit!!
5. What scares me you ask: Hearing the blender going in the kitchen!! Twin 5-year-olds are awake.. My wife is not home.. While being stuck on a conference call!! Aww ^&*! no!!
