The boys looked at me this week and said, "Dad I am ready for fall. It is cooler, we can have campfires, and football is on each weekend." My heart melted! As did all of our faces from the torrent humidity that is blazing across the south. Tailgating the first few weeks will be a hot one. Stay hydrated! Amidst the heatwave take some time out to find what funny things were cooked up this week.....

2. The twins have an uncanny ability to use made-up words in just the right way as in, “This pizza is kindabit good and the lemonade is yumyumyumminess.”
3. My two favorite things in life right now are being with my kids and not being with my kids!!
4. New game show TV: Bargaining before Midnight: but me really just bribing the twins to stay in bed!!
5. Being a dad is like being a lead in a movie half superhero, half villain who is just doing improvised theater way longer than anyone decides to listen!!
