The month of July calls for many celebrations around , with one of them being the National Graham Cracker Day on July 5. The extremely renowned crackers make for great s’mores, pie bases, and twins love love them. Graham crackers were originally invented as a healthy alternative to eating other foods that were thought to cause epilepsy, tuberculosis, and a range of other illnesses. The recipe for the crackers included graham flour, brans, and grains. The crackers were on the blander side with the slightest hints of sweetness. Soon, people realized that the somewhat bland taste of the crackers made for a great addition to pies and cakes. The story goes that a reverend from the 19th century called Sylvester Graham invented the yumminess. As always we had s'mores while watching fireworks last night because well that is American as American gets. Plus, it reminds me of the movie "Sandlot" when America had more community, morals, traditions, and patriotism. I pray you both are strong Godly men who will uphold this country and defend her. 1. No one victim blames more than a twin brother who’s in trouble for hitting said twin brother!!
2. Interesting how twins get through a 7 hour school day with one snack and one lunch but when they're home for the summer they will die if they go longer than 20 minutes without eating something!!
3. Sure summer is chaotic with kids home all day and constant disasters popping up around the house, but there’s also suffocating humidity, searing heat and unquenchable thirst!! Still do not want to live anywhere else but the south says the twins!!
4. I’ve found it important to open your kids up to a variety of sports when they’re young. The easiest with twins has been death match wrestling on the living room floor!! Most natural sport between the two!!
5. The most exhausting part of parenting that isn’t talked about enough is that kids constantly want you to watch the dance they just made up
