Twins: Naturally bestowed upon esteemed position of being a forever brainstorm buddy. The privilege of getting insight into a womb mate without hesitation. A childhood journey of conjuring up crazy ideas basically through telekinesis. Special twin talk and creative expressions of love only known by the other womb mate. It may or may not always make sense. Nevertheless, it is all a part of the creation of their own magnum opus!! And I am here to tell you we are just along for the ride. My advice to the two of is buckle up because it may get weird from time to time. Embrace the uniqueness that comes from being a twin. You have someone to bounce ideas off at all times, you have a built-in playmate, and most of all you have someone you can be utterly open-honest-real-truthful with no matter what. I am in awe of how your relationship advances each day and am grateful to be your earthly father. Even more so thank you for naturally brainstorming 5 Friday Finds and displaying them as buddies each week…..
1. On Monday, the twins accidentally activated Siri on the Apple TV remote, and neither could figure out how to make it go away, so both started shouting things like, “What the Heck!! NEVERMIND!! And F%^$!! at the remote. We blamed mom!!
2. Me: Remember Rome was not built in a day.
Twins: How many days was it built in?
Me: I don’t know maybe four. Who wants ice cream?
3. Remember when moms would just drop you off at the mall and have no way to get in touch with you? I don’t even trust the twins to go upstairs alone!!
4. Have kids so that it can be your fault a 2-hour movie they want to see can't be watched in 30 minutes!!
5. There’s a brewery right next to the twins’ karate class. I propose we combine these two businesses — call it ‘Hops n Chops’!!
