1. Welcome to a Summer with Kids Preparedness tutorial. Our first lesson is how to apply sunscreen. First grab angry raccoons, I mean first grabbed the twins so said sunscreen can be applied!!
2. The twins asked me to hold their Chik-Fil-A lemonades and chicken nuggets while at the playground this week and I think it’s safe to say we all know how that went. Go play, nothing to see here!!
3. Welcome to parenthood. You just stepped in a puddle, Inside your house and it does not smell, so all is well!!
4. In a world of many parenting hacks for twins, only one hack remains indisputably effective when you need a kid to do something: "I'll set a timer and time you."
5. Parenting is so hard cause how am I supposed to pretend cookies wouldn’t make a good breakfast and why we can’t eat chocolate chip waffles or muffins each morning??
This week I was very proud when the dentist let me know that the twins were some of the most well behaved kids he has patients. In addition, yesterday when mom was done getting ready for work the boys exclaimed, “ Mommy you look like a Princess!!” Even though they test our nerves at home, the boys do act with manners in public. We give all the glory to God and pray you stick near to him as you grow into gentlemen.
