5 Friday Findings!!!!! Indy Bound!!

There comes a time in every man’s life when you must face your fears straight on. It might be asking a girl out on a date for the first time or becoming a father and not truly knowing how to be one. I do my best to fear nothing in life because of God my father and seeing what war does to people. It has brought me to the philosophy of “face it all & rise or fear it all & run.” Which bring me to this weekend! National Championship Game! Georgia verses its nemesis. As a beloved Dawg Fan through and through there is no other team that I want to be playing but Alabama. It is time to face the elephant, grab the tusks and throw them back to Tuscaloosa. We have lost the 7 meetings and instead of the Dawgs facing a challenge as in the challenge is in front of us. The Dawgs must face up to the challenge in front of us and do something about it. Do not be afraid, do not be timid, own it and play with confidence. It is time to beat the best to be the best. If for the 8th time we fall, then come Tuesday get back up and want to play them again. Never back down and always remember:

I firmly believe that any man’s finest hours – his greatest fulfillment of all that he holds dear – is that moment when he has worked his heart out in good cause and lies exhausted on the field of battle – victorious. If it doesn't matter who wins or loses, then why do they keep score?”

~ Vince Lombardi

The best way to gain more yards is advance the ball down the field from the line of scrimmage.

~ John Madden

The most Important thing about a team is morale. The most important thing in good leadership is truly caring.

~ Dean Smith

Until next Friday when we reflect on being respectful come win or lose this father, coach, and athletic director hopes you find humor in the 5 finds confronted as a twin dad this week…..

1. There are indeed only two stages of parenthood: having children and having children who can reach things on countertops.

2. Of course, I talk in my sleep. I have twin 3yos, I answer most of their questions while I'm still asleep.

3. Dear 3-year-old twins, it's crazy when you both refuse to go to the bathroom and then 1 minute later fight about who gets to go first. Crazy!!

4. Half of a twin parents’ vocabulary is “whoa”

5. Tuesday night before bed the twins asked me to sing a new song, so the only one I could think of at the time was the fresh prince of bel air theme. This is how cool kids are raised!!
