5 Friday Findings!!!!! Happy Birthday MLK and Happy Bagel Day!!

Happy Birthday to the most influential man in the last century. MLK hangs on the hall way into the man cave becuase he was such an astounding leader and invoked change in such a great manner. January 15th is also bagel day. Bagels are great, come in multiple flavors with numerous options for cream cheese and meats. However, there are only 1 Myles and 1 Ryker. Thank you, Lord, for allowing me the privilege of being their father. It is by no means a given right or a comfort that I take for granted. Fatherhood is rewarding, and I am far from perfect, but so ecstatic to be involved everyday with my twin boys. This week as a dad these 5 humorous findings were revealed to us as parents:
1. You can’t tell me what to do, you are not my 2-year-old twins
2. I’m just a dad, standing in front of my lovely wife, trying to blurt out something before I forget, due to twins interrupting us 105 times during a conversation
3. If I learned just one thing as a twin parent, it’s that if twins are playing catch with samurai swords and hand grenades who cares? As long as they are doing it quietly
4. We grocery shop at Publix & they give out free cookies. Publix is now referred to as “cookie shop” where the kids want to go daily and point ‘N” scream for cookies as we drive by doing more important things vs getting free !*** cookies
5. Sometimes I let my wife learn things on her own like this week: she wanted to switch things up by buying different chicken nuggets. Did I mention we have twins?
